A closer a look at Apollo Southampton new facility

Just in case you missed last week’s post, Apollo Aerospace’s Electrical Division has officially moved to its new home in Hedge End, Southampton.

We were fully operational from our previous Gaters Mill facility on Friday 24th October and then fully operational from our new home on Monday 27th October. It took a superhuman effort in design, project planning & physically moving the business, but with our awesome team’s efforts we delivered exactly against the plan (Despite the weather’s best efforts).

Now that the dust has settled on the ribbon cutting ceremony, it’s finally time to unveil our new home in more detail. We are immensely proud of the standard of finish within the facility recognising the investment from our parent company Supply Technologies.

Commenting on the move, Head of Product & Operations Tony Houghton states “Our new home delivers a 400% increase in usable square footage and is a beautiful platform to grow the business both in terms of scale and efficiency. Our Product Centric Warehouse, the Value-Add Assembly and office areas create an environment where our employees can grow and thrive. The detail we’ve achieved in our new modern home is the culmination of 6 months enormously detailed work by all the team. This new facility delivers a class leading standard that complements our customer and product growth strategy”
